How it goes up

Three steps, about an hour

  1. Step 1

    Stick them up

    Start at the baseboard and work upward. Pack them tight at the bottom and let them scatter as they climb.

  2. Step 2

    Hide the string

    Tuck the LED string in behind the densest part of the swarm so you see the glow and not the wire.

  3. Step 3

    Kill the lights

    Overhead off. Every folded wing throws its own shadow and the wall stops being a wall.
